We had a busy week. Here are some highlights:
*Saturday: camp ended, took some staff to DC, unsuccessful shopping trip to IKEA for beds for camp (college students?) but the kids enjoyed the play place for the first time, dinner at Fuddruckers with our friend Ashlee
*Sunday: moved all of our stuff back home after church and slept in our own beds for the first time in 3 months!
*Monday: girls started daycare and Brayden enjoyed his last day of summer with Mom & Dad
*Tuesday- this was a big day! Brayden started Kindergarten and enthusiastically climbed on the bus in the morning without looking back! We had a 5.8 earthquake which shook our offices. And Bristol celebrated her 6 month birthday
The rest of the week was a little quieter. We had a great summer, but we are glad to be home and getting into the routines of school!

Time to Breathe
Tonight all three kids were asleep by 9:15 in their own beds, dishes piled up in the sink were washed, bills were paid, coupons were cut and filed, and the floor in the living room is now clutter-free! This is how I wish every night had been this summer, but in the craziness of camp that has not been the case. This week we are starting to have time to breathe.
Fun activities coming up this week include the fair and a visit to our new daycare and Kindergarten, which both start next week (!!). I'm excited about Brayden starting Kindergarten and having structure and all the school stuff. Brinley will be in daycare 5 days a week for the first time and Bristol will be in daycare for the first time ever. I think this will be my hardest transition! She is almost 6 months old and we've only been apart about 6 or 8 days when I went back to work part-time before camp started. She spent most of those days screaming with Kenny, Buddy & Barbara and Laurie. I'm hoping that's not the case at daycare and that she takes a bottle or sippy cup and has fun playing with other baby friends.
I know they'll all be fine, but I'm anticipating an emotional next week for me and the kids!

Village Closet Consignment Sale
I've been busy working on getting my things ready for The Village Closet Consignment Sale this weekend! It is Friday and Saturday at Stone Spring Elementary. Come by and shop for baby gear, clothing for infants to women, household items, toys and more!
I have been consigning items since they started the sale in January of 2008 (it happens 2-3 times a year) and have also been a volunteer for every sale. Not only do you earn a greater percentage of your sales for volunteering, but you meet lots of people and it's a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to this weekend!
