Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe that 2012 is almost over. It's been a busy and exciting year for our family, especially lately. We moved to Denver almost two weeks ago and enjoyed celebrating a white Christmas with Kim's parents, and have been exploring the city. We have had a LOT of family time lately. It's been very cold, but we have managed to get outside almost every day and Brayden has mastered riding his bike without training wheels (finally!)! We are looking forward to starting work, school and daycare soon to get back into a routine. I promise I will be  updating the blog more frequently!

Best wishes for a wonderful new year!

Moving West

We have big news...

We are moving to Colorado in December!

After being a part of Camp Horizons for 25 years as a camper and staff member, and having both been here for ten years full-time, this was not an easy choice to make. We are excited about this opportunity for our family as I start a new adventure at Cheley Colorado Camps in Estes Park, Colorado with winters in Denver.

Now comes the crazy time of wrapping up things at work, prepping to sell our house, packing up and paring down...

Halloween

We had a great time celebrating Halloween twice- once with the campers at our Fall Reunion, and again on Halloween. Nana and Grandpa came trick-or-treating with us and Bristol decided she really liked people putting things into her bucket. She kept saying "more! more!" and signing "thank you!"

The have the same head angle, the same cheese, two peas in a pod!

Again with the cheese. Hard to get a "normal" photo lately!

Instead of candy, we made treat bags for friends at school. Brinley labeled all of her bags herself and did such a great job! They had playdoh, crayons and spider rings inside.

Bristol's friends got crayons

Brayden's friends also got playdoh, crayons and a spider ring

Bristol wasn't standing still for pictures!

Then we sorted it all- what fun!

Homecoming

We had a great time cheering for our Bulldogs as they beat Middle Tennessee State and were undefeated (7-0) for the first time in more than a decade.

Bulldog Sports

In addition to football, we also took in volleyball, softball and soccer. I'm sad to say this was my first time attending all three of those sports, but we all had a great time. The volleyball game was not very crowded, so we were able to sit close to the action and cheer for the girls. Bristol ended up on the big screen!

Brayden is totally into the cheesy face lately and it cracks me up!

 Ran into Sharon Fanning-Otis
Loved sitting on the grass watching soccer

Be still my heart- love these sweet siblings!

 Bristol loved Bully!
