Christmas Card Fail

We tried on three different occasions to take a family photo for our Christmas card. Someone was crying or grumpy in almost every photo, despite bribery attempts. We finally got one, but here are some of the failed attempts:

Sometimes we just have to laugh at the situation and remind each other that we're in this together!

Happy Birthday!

We had an early birthday celebration for all 3 kids since Mimi & Pop don't get to be with them on their real birthdays in January & February. We had a birthday party complete with presents and cupcakes!

Road Trip!

We took a long drive from VA to MS for Thanksgiving. We had a nice trip down, timing our stops at Bass Pro Shop (for Kenny), Hobby Lobby & Fuddruckers (for me) and Russell Stover outlet. Bass Pro Shop was having Santa's Wonderland and the kids also enjoyed riding up and down in the glass elevator. Brinley & Daddy on the carousel:

They spell it wrong, but Brayden thought this was cool.
We ate at a Japanese restaurant where they cook right in front of you. Brayden liked it at first, but no one was crazy about the fire. The food was so delicious!

9 months old!

Sweet Bristol is 9 months old today! She has one tiny tooth poking through, sits up well, can rock on all fours but isn't into crawling yet, gets quite upset when the food she is eating is all gone, likes to be held while said holder is standing up rather than sitting, laughs at her brother and sister, likes to be able to see Mommy at all times and is so much fun. We are thankful for Bristol Grace!

From the Mouths of Babes

Brinley told me all about Thanksgiving today:

T and I were on the Mayflower. We were Pilgrims and went out to the island to see the Indians. We taught them how to cut down trees to build houses and make tee pees. We taught them how to hunt. (Are you sure they didn't teach you how to hunt?) No, we taught them. Then we ate a meal together. It was Thanksgiving. <Breaks into Thanksgiving song>

Who Let the Dawgs Out?

We attempted a photo shoot with our little Bulldogs, but everyone wasn't looking at the camera at different times. Oh well, I guess that's what you get with three kids under the age of six! They had fun with the pom poms and Brayden slept in his jersey.
Thing 1, Thing 2 & Thing 3

This is how we felt about losing the game:
