We went to Mississippi this month for Homecoming. Here are some highlights:

Back Home on the Farm

We had a fun weekend with my brother-in-law, Jim, and his girlfriend (now fiancee!) Leea recently. We went to Back Home on the Farm for the first time and the kids loved it!

My Triathlete

Brinley competed in her first triathlon recently! It included biking, running and a scavenger hunt. Thankfully Leea was there to cheer her on (and run with her), otherwise I don't think she would have participated. She didn't win, but had fun. Lately when they kids have been playing outside they have been playing triathlon!

Bristol loved the Chick-Fil-A cow! My older kids don't like mascots or dogs, but she loves them.

Our MOPS social in September was at You Made It pottery and here is my piece- owl theme of course! I love that it was within my small budget and I have it by my bed for my rings.

The Nanny Diaries

One day in August, we got to see three of our favorite previous and current nannies all in one day at camp!

Jen was our nanny when Brinley was a baby and Brayden was 2

"Jenny Walker" as the kids call her (not just Jenny) was our nanny when Brinley was 1 and Brayden was 3. She has worked at camp every summer since then! 

Terrie-Lea was our nanny this summer and the kids have already been Skyping with her!

Love all of you girls, and all of the rest of you who have been nannies for our kids!

Lunch

I am loving Brayden's new lunch bag for this year. It's from Thirty-One, of course! (Ask me if you want more info or need to order!)

 I got a Gerber snack box from the baby/toddler food aisle at Walmart for about $6, which perfectly holds his lunch.

 It stands up in the Thermal Tote, along with a drink and an ice pack and it's good to go.
