I went to Atlanta for the national American Camp Association conference. I hated leaving my babies behind, and leaving Kenny to deal with everything, but it was good to see old friends and got some great professional development.
I presented a session, along with friends from Virginias Field Office camps. Our 8:00 pm "Night Cap" was on raising your family while working at camp. We thought the timing might be a problem, but were pleased with the turnout and discovered we could have talked for much longer than an hour!
